Kiln Green Church
Kiln Green Church belongs to St. Chad’s Church of England parish.
Kiln Green is near to the Diggle Hotel in the north of the village. It has been an important place of worship in Diggle for many years and serves the community with splendid resources and facilities that are available for hire.
The main hall is used for Sunday worship. There is a well equipped stage and can host plays, shows and pantomimes for up to 120 persons. There is a smaller hall, a good functional kitchen and a lower basement room.
The church is licensed to hold weddings and because the rooms are adaptable both the service and reception can be held at the same place. There is ample room to hold private functions including christenings, funerals, birthday parties, discos and family events. Check our rates and availability by telephoning or emailing Geoff or Janet. Everyone is welcome at Kiln Green. Please contact our Parish Priest Rev. Howard Sutcliffe (see details below) at the vicarage if anyone needs help or is sick and cannot attend any of our services.
Sunday Worship 9:30am
Weekly Sunday School and Junior Church activites takes place in an adjoining room. The children are invited to join the congregation for Communion.
1st 2nd and 4th Sunday in the month: Holy Communion.
3rd Sunday in the month: Family Worship.

St Chad’s Saddleworth Joint Services
