Diggle Cub Scouts
Cub Scouts are young people aged between 8 and 10½ years old. Easily distinguished by their dark green sweatshirt and group scarf, they form the largest section of Scouting in the UK.
Cubs like to get outside to do lots of exciting things such as camping, cooking on open fires, laying trails, hiking, but if the weather isn’t so good, then we play games, learn first aid, map reading, and many more things.
There are also lots of badges a Cub Scout can wear including a Membership Badge, 5 Challenge Badges, the Chief Scouts Silver Award, a Joining In Badge and choose your favourites from 32 Activity Badges;
Adventure, Air Activities, Animal Carer, Art, Athletics, Book Reader, Camper, Chef, Collector, Communicator, Cyclist, DIY, Emergency Aid, Entertainer, Equestrian, Global Conservation, Hobbies, Home Help, Home Safety, Local Knowledge, Martial Arts, My Faith, Naturalist, Navigator, Personal Safety, Physical Recreation, Road Safety, Scientist, Skater, Sports Enthusiast, Water Activities, World Faith
In addition any member of the Scout Group can gain one of the staged badges or Group Awards in:
